Who We Are
Mercy Foundation was officially incorporated as a Florida 501c3 nonprofit in 2018, but the group's founders have been community work in Osceola and Orange counties for more than 20 years.
The foundation began to formalize its partnerships in Osceola and Orange counties after the Pulse nightclub shooting in 2016. That summer, when the Central Florida community was reeling in pain and disbelief, the foundation hosted "United We Remember" at Osceola Heritage Park. The event literally set the stage for an outpouring of love, support and condolences for the 90 local survivors and victims of the tragedy, as well as their friends and family members.
See Our ServicesOur Mission
As Central Florida grows, the Mercy Foundation is building our community's capacity for compassion through service projects. One act of kindness at a time. Serving the Underserved is a catchphrase that underscores Mercy Foundation's core principle: All people deserve dignity, safety, healthcare, and education, regardless of their life circumstances.
