Women's Center Grand Opening

The Women's Empowerment Leadership Development – WELD – initiative took flight in February, 2015 when a group of women came together to share concerns about the trials and tribulations impacting women and young girls in today's society. Mercy Foundation opened the WELD center in December 2018. Located on Apopka Vineland Road, the WELD center invites women of all ages, ethnicities, and socio-economic backgrounds together in a relaxed environment to talk about topics in health, leadership, family, and education.
